Intro

The Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Project is an expansion project of the Qinshan Phase I nuclear power project. The planned capacity of the project is two million-kilowatt PWR nuclear power units. The second-generation improved pressurized water reactor technology is used, and the localization rate reaches over 80%. It is expected that these two units will be put into commercial operation in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
